So that's exactly what I did, and from that moment on, the results have been amazing...

Today my energy levels are so much higher than back then. And I get so much more done. One of the keys I learned was how to balance things out. By doing this I got to enjoy so many more things out of life like...

Taking extended holidays, as I now go skiing for at least six weeks every year plus I love to visit tropical islands for adventure getaways. Spending quality time with my family. Catching up with long lost friends and hanging out. Plus I now have the time and energy to do fun things like triathlon racing, learning to kite surf, dance and to basically to do what I like!!

And the cool thing here is I went from feeling tired, sluggish and blar to really re-energised in just a few short weeks. After three to six months I was really kicking goals. After nine months I was literally flying of the charts.

Taking care of business, everyone and everything else and forgetting about my body meant that I was running on empty energy levels and so it was incredibly hard to find the joy and fulfillment in life because – I was tired most of the time, I was running on empty and didn’t have the energy to do what I wanted!

I also learned that the way you experience the world is through your body and your brain so when you invest some time, and it’s not a lot of time, into your body then your body and brain reward you 100 times back.

And when you have the energy, additional clarity and focus you need to get things done and perform over and above even your expectations – this is where life’s golden moments lie!

And so this was a HUGE lesson for me, which I wanted to share with the world!

So I began right away, this was six years ago, working with anyone who was interested in raising their energy levels and feeling so much better as I had done.

For your body to run optimally with high energy levels it needs to do certain things including having your bloods operate at a level of 7.365 alkalinity.

What do I mean?

There is an acid and alkaline balance of your bloods that can be measured on a scale from 0 to 14.

O = Pure Acid.
14 = Pure Alkalinity.

Now medical science has worked out for optimal energy levels that your blood needs to run at 7.365, which is slightly alkaline and this is a critical number for you to get familiar with.

Here’s why…

Because if your blood was to vary by more than one point either way – let’s say it went to 8.365 – then you would be dead!

So given this is of life and death importance…

Your body will do EVERYTHING IN IT’S POWER to protect itself to run your blood stream at 7.365, which is slightly alkaline. Including shutting you down immediately from time to time, say after a big meal (ie Christmas lunch!), because the body says – I am shutting you down (for a nap) as I need to clean all this up, before you can go and do anything.

So What Causes A Highly Acidic Lifestyle?

There are two umbrella causes that produce a high acid lifestyle…

2. The Way You Run Your Body

The mind body connection is a powerful force.

To prove this statement. Do you want to play along for a second?

If I said to you, can you think of a time you were really, really worried. Or image a time you were really worried? Now double that feeling of worry. And double it again. That’s right and now turn it up and double those feelings of worry again. And double it again?

Now, what’s going on inside you?

What’s going on in your stomach?

If you played full on, you would have created some extra acid in your system.

So before we go on, STOP for a moment and can you think of a time you were really at peace. Or image a time where you are at complete peace and tranquility. Now double those feelings of peace and tranquility. And double it again. If peace and tranquility was a color what color would it be for you? That’s right. Now take the color and flood the color and the feelings of peace and tranquility through you, right now and breathe again!

Do you feel a difference?

So as you can see and feel, your body can produce

  • acid from your thoughts
  • or peace and tranquility!

So given the mind is connected to the body, there are three main causes of thinking stress that produce acid:

  • Career / Financial stress
  • Relationship stress
  • Health stress

Plus these emotions and thinking strategies also produce acid…

  • Fears produce acid in your body
  • Worry produces acid in your body
  • Negative emotions produce acid in your body
  • Being overly hard on yourself

Now I am not saying that you need to wipe all of these things out completely as each play a role in getting you to move and take action. However what I am saying is if left unchecked and when they become out of balance, the net effect on you is an increase in acid, which raises your biological age, which makes you tired and robs you of the energy you need to get things done.

And with a highly acidic lifestyle it’s even worse than that because our bodies aren’t equipped to deal with the high level of acid - so unable to cope, the process is even worse than garbage in and garbage out because…

Acid in, acid out and EXCESS ACID left over in the body that has to be dealt with immediately.

And Dealing With The Excess Acid Takes A LOT OF ENERGY

So the trick here is to minimise the effects of an acidic lifestyle and adopt more of an alkaline lifestyle.
